Effects of seawater
With Phase II of the Full Field Development Project underway, Adma-Opco were aiming to increase the field’s oil production capacity to 65,000 barrels per day, from 22,000. But to do this safely, they needed a solid offshore firefighting system they could rely on in case of emergencies. Given the offshore location, any system needed to cope with the effects of seawater and not corrode.
